Its funny how at the end of just the first year of a four year science degree already the backs of food labels arent that scary any more and how just ignorant activists are beginning to sound to me. Creating fear about ingredients simply because they sound scary while completely ignoring natural or healthy sounding ingredients that are in fact toxic. I had a nutritionist try and explain the difference between saturated and unsaturated fats to me in that saturated means covered in fat and unsaturated is the opposite. WRONG! And a naturopath look at me horrified when I said that chemicals arent inherently bad because every single thing is made up of chemicals, and there is no fruits or vegetables in the supermarket that arent genetically modified because Woolworths doesnt sell heirloom varieties. Seriously, the alternative medicine and food industries is big business creating customers.
