Its funny, when you walk through that door for the first time, your nervous excited so many emotions its so hard to describe.. I remember hearing the veterans talk and thinking to myself, how did they get that way? How can they speak that way about this job, we won the brass ring!! 23 years later I completely understand, and the funny thing is no matter how much you explain to the new guy on how to avoid this, or to set yourself up right so when this happens you can take care of yourself, they wont; not because they dont want to listen, its because they wont understand until,they get there.. Its hard, because until someone has been there, its hard to explain to them.. But, if you have someone that understands you completely, they can help you get through it emotionally, they can help you get to the other side... Laureen Gregor Pastorello..
