Its going against my better judgement to ask this question, as so far most conversations Ive tried to engage in have gone off the rails the second I say something someone doesnt like, but let us try anyway... Would you be willing to discuss more regulations on open carry? Like, say, the same sort of process you have to go through for concealed? I think the problem a lot of people have with open carry, and maybe Im speaking for people when I shouldnt, is that anyone can just go buy a rifle and sling it over their shoulder and walk through town. It seems people are a little more comfortable with concealed carry since there was at least some sort of pre-screening done. Or its possible that out of sight is out of mind. Youll never convince me that well all be safer once every single man and woman is armed, but maybe somewhere in the middle theres a compromise. Although, neither side seems willing to budge.
