Its great news that Sweekruti & Samikshya from SCB Medical College Cuttack have qualified for the national finals of the IAP quiz.Congratulations.Its a super duper achievement by two fresh final year grads,who have been consistently humbling the best & their senior teams from colleges all over eastern India.I am not aware of how many times such an event has happened at SCB,when a fresh final year team has gone this far as I cant recollect any,but whatever that may be,these little girls have brought big laurels to the state & their college.Its a feather in the cap for the Dept Of Paediatrics at SCB MC & nothing showcases their training drills better than this. Its truly a moment of great personal satisfaction to have been associated with the development & coaching of this team,one we hope to nurture & fashion into a very good contender for the next national championship.A Very special thanks to Dr Sabyasachi Raut for overseeing the execution of each & every little detail of our small plans & the many postgraduates & faculties of Paediatrics who have helped all along the way. Whatever may happen at the national finals,the one thing I can guarantee is that we will be tough to beat.These young ladies are so much about belief & attitude & I just envy the way Sabyasachi makes them gel together.Given the chance,the scope & a bit of help-they will make a great team for the future.This win is inspirational. Truly feel proud of you !! :)
