Its hard to believe how sick I was this time last year. The 11th will be a full year. Many thanks to the Indiana Ambulance service that came into the woods and got me. Great appreciation to Deaconess Gateway Hospital for getting me into the operating room so quickly before I bled out. Dr. Showenfeld (not spelled correctly ) for doing the emergency surgery, and the nurses in the critical care unit. Most of all I want to thank God for saving my life., and for allowing me to continue this journey. I was privileged to meet a wonderful woman a super nurse and now Im proud to call her friend. .. Jeannie Josh Abel!! She went above and beyond the call of duty! ! Love you dear friend, Ill never forget all you did for me. You gave me hope and comfort I was 400 miles from home away from my husband scared and alone and you made me feel like my family was right there. Thank you all for your help, care, compassion, and kindness! !
