Its hard to describe being a loyal and dedicated supporter for close to 44 years. I remember my parents, especially my mom, doing their best to make me a Kansas City Chiefs fan because Mo Moorman played Right Guard for the Chiefs but whenever the Raiders and Chiefs got together I just liked the dudes in the silver hats better. I still can hear my mother screaming at the TV during the Thanksgiving Day game between the Raiders and the Chiefs (Oakland 44–22 BTW)! But the thing that sealed it for me was the Immaculate Reception game in 72. The Raiders had that season! My dad and I were watching that game. I thought for sure Oakland was going to win and then... When I went to the gym today three dudes gave me grief cause I wore a shirt with just the emblem on it. Yeah, so Oakland got pasted 52-0 yesterday by the Rams. The tat on my left arm says, Win, Lose, or Tie..., not sometimes, not just during the good years, it says Win, Lose, or Tie...Raider Nation til you die! I take the good with the bad. Oh, and BTW those dudes at the gym were Chargers fans. How do I know? Because when I asked them who their team was they all shut it! Nothing to talk about.
