Its hard to express thoughts on happiness, and the conveyance of it. Happiness is universally recognized, but there is no standard for its construction. Ones state of happiness could mean nothing to another. Thats not to say there arent constants, because there are plenty. I see it more like varying percentages, or a DNA-like sequence. I dont feel like quantifying emotional triggers right now, though, and Im going to look at the individual disparity of happiness. Similar to my thoughts on hobbies, happiness doesnt like to be read so easily. also similar is the outside-looking-in perspective, which, while we respect happiness, remains unintelligible in cases of large divergence from your own concept of happiness. I guess this applies to every other emotional field as well, Ive just noticed it more in terms of happiness and sadness. To brush on a broader subject, there is nothing that confuses me more than how variable a display of emotional affect can be. While some people display and tell emotions through the complex language of mannerism and tone, others are more blunt. There is also various levels of intensity and severity that have to be accounted for. And in a general sense, these differ for every single person. It amazes me that emotional connection is even possible with all of these variables. I know everything I just typed out probably isnt saying what I wanted it to, but Ill leave it at close enough. The ability to connect on any level with others is neat. Humans, in the majority, actively seek it out. And why not? Its fun and it feels good to connect, and thats reason enough, right? I feel like it needs no analysis beyond that. Honestly thats what makes it so neat: Its just something we do because we can. Its a statement to the power of feeling good, Which could be considered a major driving force for us as humans. I admit, the idea that we live to have fun can seem a little naive at times, but Im okay with that. We need more ideas like that anyway.
