Its hard to get on FB and see all the beautiful pics of Bri that people have shared. Makes everything seem so permanent. Im still in complete shock, not sure which emotion is more consuming. The sorrow of her death, the empathy for her family, the confusion in so many minds, or the comfort of knowing she is far away from this world of hurt and grief and that her soul is not hurting anymore. It seems like more and more of the back in the day friends are slipping away. So many crazy memories are just that, memories. Never would I have imagined this whole situation. The girl I saw every weekend at the bowling alley 18 years ago is forever etched in my mind. I am going to remember that Bri. The sarcastic, stubborn, unfiltered Bri that had my back more than once. She was always that friend who you knew would tell you if you looked like crap, and smile a smile that lit up the room all in the same moment.
