Its hard to remain positive in todays world when so many values have changed. A large number of people have become hardened and have lost sight of the morales we should all be held to. Liars, gossips, cheats, false accusers, scam artists, child abusers, murderers, etc…have become the norm in todays world. Its hard to trust anyone anymore. Christians, and I mean the true Christians, seem to be lumped in with the ones that talk it but dont live it. I know several and, sad to say, am very disappointed in their actions. Some try to force people to adjust their thoughts of what Gods vision is. Jesus NEVER forced or condemned others. He showed grace. Kindness will go a lot further than using the mental attitude, I know what you should do and am going to make you do it. God gives us the option to choose and if you show TRUE Christian actions it will carry more weight than any amount of words you could speak. Dont talk it….DO IT! I realize I cannot heal everyones problems but honestly care about people…not to say there are not some I detest and want no part of. LOL This year I will weed out those that are a drain on my life. I will focus on the positive and stay away from the negative people that WANT to be that way and nothing I can do or say will help them. Some people WANT to be miserable. NOT ME!!! God gave us this life to enjoy as we abide by His rules. There should be no straddling the fence. You CAN be a true, good Christian and enjoy life MORE than you would by choosing the world as your guide. Im not saying that you shouldnt keep your guard up but I AM saying to be prepared for the hills and valleys of life and know at the end of the day you have stepped up and attempted to address every situation to the best of your Christian ability. So I guess what I am saying is Goodbye. Goodbye to those that think the world revolves around them and they know best for everyone and try to force that upon us all. Goodbye to the people that seem to want misery in their lives. Goodbye to those that think they are better than others because of Gods blessings financially. Goodbye to those that are users and abusers of those less fortunate. Goodbye to the talkers of Gods word one minute and within seconds turning to the world for what they can get without Him. You see…sometimes saying Goodbye can be a GOOD thing. God bless you all and remember…to move forward means sometimes you must say Goodbye. Just sayin...
