Its hard to write a note of thanks to someone you have never met. You can only hope that the intent of what you say will be understood and in some measure meaningful. I am trying to write that note right now. I am blessed on a regular basis with truly kind and thoughtful emails from those of you who have taken time out of your busy lives to send them to me. I read my Facebook and Twitter comments and see the inspiring, supportive and generous comments that many of you leave there. I dont quite know what to say in return and I am often overwhelmed by what I read. I frankly do not deserve much of the praise and it makes me uncomfortable because I certainly know that. It also is very humbling when I read your stories and hear of some of the significant personal challenges that you have overcome. I want to let each and every one of you who have sent me a kind comment, or a note about your own journey in life, know that I am thankful to you. I cant personally reply to every one individually but I can send this post to let you know that I do read them all and feel very privileged to receive them. The reality is that not everyone in this world is kind. And there are always notes written to me and others that are the exact opposite of nice. But for me your kindness takes away any impact of negativity and the generous words that are said help me, always. It gives me hope that the world does have genuine, thoughtful, good people in it. You never know how much you too inspire through your words of support and the sharing of your own stories. Arlene
