Its here again! CFAW! If any band students are visiting with us we have many opportunities we would love for you to take advantage of! Wind Ensemble Rehearsal: 2:55 p.m. - 4:45 p.m. TODAY. If you brought your instrument please feel free to sit in and play with us! If you havent brought an instrument, come 20-40 minutes early and we may be able to provide one to you! You are also free to simply sit back and enjoy rehearsal. Rehearsal will take place in Performing Arts Hall Room 134 Marching Techniques Clinic: 9:00 a.m. SATURDAY. We are hosting a Marching Techniques Clinic Saturday morning. This gives band members of any level and marching style a chance to learn our specific style as well as get to know leadership a bit. We highly encourage this activity for students who have never done marching band before, but are interested in learning. This clinic will take place in Performing Arts Hall Room 145 Marching Band Auditions: 10:00 a.m. SATURDAY. Directly following the Marching Techniques Clinic will be auditions for Marching Band. If you have prepared your drill and memorized your music and have not contacted Staff Assistant Rachael Chastain at [email protected] about auditioning, please do right away! We can still schedule you in. Cadence: 12:30 p.m. SATURDAY. The School of Music is hosting a Meet and Greet session in Performing Arts 134. Come out and meet the Faculty and Staff, hear from our Deans, as well as talented student performances. Guard Auditions: 2:00 p.m. SATURDAY. If you are interested in performing with the Liberty University Marching Band in our Color Guard we are hosting Auditions on Saturday. If you are interested and have not contacted Guard Instructor Bryanna Tester yet please do so immediately at [email protected]. Auditions will be taking place in PA 134 following the Cadence event.
