Its important to acknowledge the utter despair we all feel about the bottomless pit of dogs being dumped and abandoned. We in Dogs Aid feel that despair on a daily basis. But please everyone, lets channel our energy into finding the solution i.e. promoting neutering/spaying, microchipping, fostering, private rescue, spreading the word on animal welfare and responsibility, as far and relentlessly as we can. There are sometimes genuine,heartbreaking reasons why people have to find their dog a new home. Those reasons can not always be shared on Facebook. We need to applaud people who ask for help and who are genuinely in need. We cant always find the solution but we can not create a climate where people are afraid to ask for help. We all have to prevent the continuous stem of dogs ending their lives in a state of fear in the Pounds of Ireland. Thank you all for your continued support. Big Woof X
