Its important to develop a positive paradigm for yourself. Some people thrive on being negative and seeing everything with a negative eye. Its important to be just in our speech and not delete the positives of anything from our memories. Even in our Shariah- Inviting towards good comes before preventing against evil...Inviting has a positive emotional element, whilst forbidding has a negative emotional element... Some people only concentrate on forbidding, and forget the principle which states: A stated command towards something implies the forbiddance of its opposite... Our Shariah teaches us that sometimes we can package our approach in a positive light which in certain circumstances would entail spending more time on the positives in our assessments and being just in our discussion about negatives. May Allah Almighty grant us the understanding...Ameen.
