Its interesting the things we dont mention, or dont/wont talk about. It makes me wonder if thats the reason folks get away with the shite they do. For example, someone left their dirty underwear behind in the bathroom at the store where I work. They tossed them in the corner where they were left hanging over the toilet scrub brush. There are many other things, worse things, that have occurred over the course of the almost two years Ive worked at the store. I wonder about people. Like, I wonder if they dont fully understand that there is someone who is cleaning up after them, cleaning up all those messes they leave behind without any consideration whatsoever. Or do they simply not care? Or do they feel its their due? We do get lots and lots of folks who come in with a profound sense of entitlement. I dont know. But sometimes, working in retail...has me more often than not losing faith in mankind. ~
