Its liberating to not need a studio or computer-screen to make dancemusic. I have one, and its well equipped, but i find it just gets in the way of being able to freely create something for a rave and have it done in hours instead of days/weeks/months. The only extra process i really need to deliver it is a sound-check before the event starts, in case their system is set really aggressively (i.e. most licensed clubs in cities with draconian noise-restrictions), otherwise i have no idea what im allowed to get away with in terms of putting in extra THD... some systems/mixers respond really well to a bit of drive. Others either cut out at the limiter completely or chuck out horrible digital noise (anything by Pioneer basically).
