Its my birthday after three consecutive 19 to 20 hour days. I got up at 4:30 am to travel 10 hours today to go to Saint Martin. The flight on US Airways is delayed because someone left the airplane lights on last night and ran down the batteries. Maintenance has to charge them up and sign off before we can board. I had 1 hour to get to connecting flight and we are delayed 40 mins, leaving me 20 mins to catch my next flight. All because someone forgot to turn off the lights!!! Now they are saying maintenance is too busy to sign off the paperwork saying we can leave.
