Its nearly blackberry season (*claps hands excitedly), and Im watching my brambles with enthusiasm... the white flower petals are now falling away, and tiny green drupes are swelling a little more with each passing day. I am dreaming of making a blackberry country wine with the wild-captured yeast Ive saved from the dandelion-nettle honey wine we made last month.
