Its not every day that the Map Man does his Superman routine. As luck would have it, his services were required yesterday. One of the team popped in at about 5pm yesterday to collect some stock. At the same time, the manageress of the charity shop on the corner had been putting her bins out for collection. (In order to prevent any further embarrassment for the person involved we are not mentioning her by name. ) All of a sudden there was a loud BANG! The back door of the Red Cross Shop slammed shut and she was locked out! Shop keys, phone with all her contacts and even her jacket were now locked inside and she was stuck outside looking rather embarrassed/worried/stressed and very cold! Well on a cold, wet and windy Sunday afternoon, what can you do? For the Map Man, the answer was easy really, give the manageress a loan of your spare jacket to keep her warm until you get the single box of stock into the van & then take her over to the assistant manageress house to collect the spare key. Within the hour Job Done! Everyone happy, access gained to the Red Cross Shop, before closing properly and everyone on their way home for their tea! All in a days work for the MapMan :-)
