Its not how much we give but how much love we put into giving. ~Mother Teresa~ Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth. ~Muhammad Ali~ Today, once again: The South Loop Campus Minstry, provided awesome food, dialogue and love to our homeless brothers and sisters.. I was able to bring a bag of clothes, I couldnt fit anymore.. At the event, I engaged in a great conversation with a homeless man.. We discussed the importance of History, Love and Education as it pertains to the true fulfillment and commitment of Social Justice. I am mad at myself that I can not for the life of me remember his name but I did give him my card with the hope that we get together for the rally tomorrow with Chicago Coalition for the Homeless at Daley plaza ( Only if class gets out early lol).. If I do not get out of class early, he did promise me a phone call to continue our one one.. I was so excited to attend and help me this evening because it taught me so much as I grow into my calling of service.. We each are given a life and I plan to live it by learning as much as I can, loving all the time and serving..
