Its about us as a community standing together and saying this sort of behaviour is not acceptable . . . and we dont celebrate this behaviour anymore. Piper said she understands people are legally innocent until proven guilty. But theres something rather poisonous in suggestions by some that accusers are lying unless they prove otherwise, she said. If youre a victim of a violent crime, youre considered guilty (of lying) until proven victimized.
