Its not often that I post something about my marriage (Jeffs been warned before not to). I usually only post things that inspire me. Today, I am so very proud to share, ITS MY HUSBAND THAT INSPIRES ME!! Jeff and I have been married 10 years today. Its been one crazy life together. Weve gone through some things that have been known to destroy marriages. Weve struggled with a lot and have had to learn to accept each others fears and failures, putting judgement aside (Still working on that). It has been hard, but our devotion to let God lead our family has made all the difference. My husband and I together built something beautiful, far from perfect, but its ours. I am so thankful for my husbands patience, for his growth, for his heart, for his love of God and for his genuine desire to love me, even when I made loving me hard. This morning, the morning that marks 10 years that Jeff has walked beside me, I found LOVE throughout my house. It didnt cost much but was worth a great deal and sent a warmth right through me. I flicked on the lights in my home to find dozens of Happy 10 Year Anniversary signs. They were everywhere - on the cabinets, in the microwave, on the chairs, everywhere. There were chocolate covered strawberries waiting for me also. Enough to share with each one of the perfect (for us) little blessings that make our life so meaningful. And to top it off, when I took off my youngest sons shirt to dress him this morning I found the most wonderful sign right on his shirt. My great husband took the time and put in the effort to fill my heart with joy. Its often the things that cost nothing that leave us feeling incredibly loved. Today I am inspired by my husband and will always remember our 10th. I am truly Blessed and hope this post helps someone else see that in the chaos, celebration, crisis, sadness, fun and frenzy of life, theres always time to show you care.
