Its not so much that Im antitrend as a rule. I like books, movies... a few big time bands. Its that, within that circuit, like anything... whether it be gems, cars or an old piece of clothing, there are some items which are simply irreplacable. Everything and everyone has that sort of inherent quality, regardless of how spendy the wrapping. The trend is not based on recognition of this. Even while pushing individuality, as a kind of front for whatever theyre selling, the trend itself is geared towards conformity. To be irreplaceable, however ...its actually kind of dangerous.
