Its not to early to start making your Period of PURPLE Crying caps for babies. This helps raise awareness of Shaken Baby Syndrome. Several Coffey County Library branches are drop off points for the caps. Knit or crochet baby caps that are at least 50% purple and drop them off to us. If you dont knit or crochet but still want to participate we accept donations of soft purple yarn. We will see that it is made up into caps. Deadline to turn in caps is Sept. 27th. If you would like some company while you work, join our Twisted Threads group that meets at the library each Wednesday from 5-6pm.
