Its official: Extinction Point: Genesis has been picked up by my publisher and will be released next year. I signed the contract yesterday and everything is now a go. Yay! Thats the good news. The bad news is that it looks like it wont be released until September of next year. Thats partly because of their scheduling itinerary but mainly because I have not been able to finish the manuscript in time. My fault, and you have my apologies for that. But heres what I have planned, just so you dont go wandering too far: there are going to be at least two more books (including Genesis) in the series, possibly more if, when I get to the end of the next book, there is more story to tell and you ladies and gents are interested in reading more. Im going to prioritize the fifth book (its working title is Extinction Point: Kings) so that there wont be anywhere near the delay between the release of Genesis and then Kings. And to keep you interested and paying attention to my newsfeed, I plan on putting together at least one short story (similar to Thors Tale) that will fill in some background story for one or more of the major characters (Im not sure who that will be yet, so stay tuned) from Emilys universe. For those of you paying attention still :) if youre wondering about Ghost of Other Worlds, Im still in the negotiation phase for that one, but Ill let you know whats going on as soon as I know. I want to thank you all again for being such fans of Emily. Im really sorry about the wait, but Ill make sure it will be worth it, honest.
