Its official. We adopted another animal. Piglet was tossed into a giant metal bin at a Goodwill like a useless piece of garbage (true story), he was damp and musty, the poor thing was lifeless. We would have passed right by him but suddenly my daughter squealed with delight and yelled Dawgeeeee!!! (Close enough). I looked over expecting to see an adorable puppy when to my surprise I saw two beady little eyes, the color of black onyx just pleading with me to save him. After several seconds of shuffling around a bunch of junk that was lodged on top of the poor pig, we managed to set him free...right into the arms of my beautiful Harper. Welcome to the family Piglet...you are lucky one of my favorite books is The Velveteen Rabbit.
