Its officially been two months in Seattle and I wanted to share - TopicsExpress

Its officially been two months in Seattle and I wanted to share with everyone how it is going up here so far. For starters, Daylight Savings time happened and so now the sun sets at 4:30 everyday. That makes for a nice, chilly walk home in the dark/rain/wind. Dont you worry though. I still dont have any cold-weather clothes yet so its not that bad. I have learned an exponential amount in regards to Excel and finance so far and have had a lot of projects come my way. I spend my days working on said projects, sitting in on meetings with investment managers, reporting on the companys portfolios, and playing with the various dogs who come into the office everyday. I graduate in just over a month from now and will celebrate by going into work and probably doing the exact same thing I do every day. I have accepted an offer to work at Amazon (in Operations) after this is internship but will most likely have other Amazon opportunities open up at the end of March. I have had lots of friends come to visit and have visited a ton of cool places in Downtown and near my place. I went to my first Seahawks and traveled to the top of the Space Needle with David this weekend. I also OFFICIALLY booked my tickets to go backpack across Thailand with AJ for the month of March. To top it all off, I get to go see ASU take on Oregon State this Saturday in Corvallis! I am having an exceptional time in Seattle and am so grateful for all the family and friends who consistently reach out to me and my experience so much better. As always, if anyone would like to be pen pals, I would be happy to give you my address so we can stay in touch via pens and paper! I miss Phoenix immensely and cannot wait to come back and visit for New Years. Cheers!
