Its pretty clear that Old Man Winter is visiting Minnesota in 2014! Here are some ways you can stay safe and comfortable at the Plunges. Please remember to dress appropriately for your Plunge--and for traveling to the Plunge location. Make sure you have: * A warm winter jacket * Boots for trekking to and from the Plunge site * Comfortable shoes to Plunge in * Warm mittens, a hat and a scarf * A towel to use to dry off after your Plunge * A change of warm snuggly clothes Your safety is important to us, so we have first responders and a dive team at every Plunge site (thanks to our wonderful law enforcement friends). And our favorite meteorologist, Ian Leonard, will keep us updated with the latest the weather news and tips on how to handle the chilliest chill. We even have an extra toasty treat for you this year: Our new heated tunnels will take you from the icy lake right to the warm changing area. No need to prolong the amount of time you spend in the frigid air! Again, safety always comes first, so make sure to take reasonable precautions in the cold and snow. We cant wait to see you all tomorrow!
