Its ready! The 2014 ArtBeats Circus Gala video! (Think this looks like fun? Missed out this year? Just wait for 2015!!) On September 13, 2014, the Mississauga Arts Council took supporters back to the heyday of the circus with their annual ArtBeats Gala. This year MAC was under the big top with an evening of thrilling performances, extraordinary foods and wondrous libations. MAC brought a variety of circus talent including; stilt walker Ben Walker, fire eater AJ Explosion and local magician Stephen Cheung to the Croatian Park, as well as famous acrobats Sara Greenberg and Ian MacMullin. Local artists Frog in Hand presented a new work and Andre Anthony with Sophisticated Funk performed on stage. Actor Nick Farrow was our host and ring master. Amazing talent was powered by Microsoft. MAC served up some of the most delicious foods from local restaurants including; Boston Pizza Square One, Earls Square One, Milestones Grill & Bar Vega , West50 Pourhouse & Grille, Panera Bread, and Jack Astors Bar and Grill. Beverages were provided by Steam Whistle Brewery, Wyborowa, Fireball Whisky, Colio Winery and T by Daniel. The Social Cupcake and Maureen Gordon shared favourite carnival treats including popcorn, cotton candy and candy apples.
