Its really interesting that my cousin, Barbie, posted this, as I recently thought about combining avocado and chocolate to see what I could come up with! This sounds yummy, and Im going to give it a try. There is a controversy surrounding the use of agave syrup as being more nutritionally sound, so I copied this from WebMD: The bottom line is that refined agave sweeteners are not inherently healthier than sugar, honey, high-fructose corn syrup, or any other sweetener. Nutritionally and functionally, agave syrup is similar to high-fructose corn syrup and sucrose (Karo) syrup. It does contain small amounts of calcium, potassium, and magnesium, but not enough to matter nutritionally. Notice it references REFINED agave, and not raw. I buy only raw, organic blue agave. I love the flavor (tastes somewhat similar to blueberries) and the fact that I can use so much less of it in my beverages and still attain the same taste.
