Its really only when one is faced with a life threatening illness that you realise how many true friends you really have. and that most people are inherently good, and do things without expecting reward or public accolades for them. The last 9 months have been a huge struggle for Debi and I, and I hope that it is safe to say that I am 40% closer to a successful outcome. None of this could have been achieved without the help and encouragement of so many people - sometimes from completely unexpected quarters. Once again, today, I was nearly brought to tears by the actions of a very dear friend. It takes a lot of courage and wisdom to take action where it may be misconstrued as interference, but there are those gifted few who have an uncanny ability to realise when the time is correct to do something to try and alleviate the hurt that is being experienced. Debi and I will never be able to explain in words how grateful we are to you, Elize and Kevin Tait. God Bless you.
