Its remarkable how we Americans like to beat ourselves to death over things that our not our fault...self-flagellation its called. Here, a guy from Liberia lies (yes, lies) on a form at an airport in Liberia...says he has not had contact with an Ebola victim (when he knew damn well he did), gains access to a plane to the United States, arrives in Dallas (which has no experience with Ebola), and has now died from it. What does the news media want? Some good people (Americans...who know so little about Ebola...an African disease) from Dallas Presbyterian Hospital are to swing from the hangmans noose...because an error was made in how he was initially treated. The witch-hunt is on now by the news/entertainment media. Even though this guy caused the problem, brought it to this country without permission, it somehow translates to an American problem. Its our fault he died. Not his...ours. Am damn sick of this thinking that is prevalent in our once great country. Sometimes, I think i dont even recognize the country anymore. Its become some kind of bizarro world...and our leaders (i..e, elites) are silent. We have become idiots.
