Its so disappointing that Ive been trying to donate blood since I got back, and every time I go, my iron is too low! Ive now gotten 6 finger pricks (which are worse than the needle, in my opinion), and I havent once been at the needed level. All Im trying to do is save lives! If you are eligible to donate, I would really consider setting up an appointment at your blood center. Around the holidays they are especially short on blood donors, and people out there need it!
