Its so great to see some of my close friends buying their tickets in support of what I do presenting the DFB PRESENTS ++ DISCLOSURE (DJ SET) ++ at Home Nightclub Sydney. DFB is myself only. I run the operations, the marketing, the planning and the execution. From day one, I am hustling the negotiations and logistics to get an act like this over the line. I collate all the info for the artwork (countless days stressing over finalising the details and getting it approved by agents) and I book every DJ myself, structuring each room with relevant genres and acts. I do the set times myself to make sure the night flows properly, I launch and create the marketing campaign by myself from day one until the event itself. I dont have somebody that works on the ticketing for me, I manage it all myself including my huge team of 30-40 that promote under the DFB brand making sure their happy and under control. I dont have someone that does logistics on the night including transfers etc, I organise the riders, the artist liaisons, the staffing and more. Not to mention I fund events like these myself and have worked my ass off for 12 years in this industry to be able to present acts like Disclosure, Calvin Harris, Kaskade, GESAFFELSTEIN, Diplo and more. I havent winged anything, Ive worked for it. So again, thank you to everyone that supports these events and I promise to deliver the highest quality product imaginable (I hardly sleep deliberating over the tiniest details). Im an independent party doing what I love and making people happy via the music, its all about the music.
