Its the animal instinct, natural to the human being, but whacked out and weird to just about every other species of life on the planet. The word control itself very nicely leaps off the page as it features so prominently in this particular photo caption. Note also the perfervid, over-the-top resounding victory and GOP Collapse language, all calculated to be controversial, divisive and ultimately politically inadvisable. Its as Lord Acton said in the UK House of Lords so long ago, during the heady 1880s, the days of the ascendancy of Disraeli and a period during which imperialism and Cecil Rhodes and visions of conquering continents and assailing the impossible itself cast long shadows over the entire planet. Lord Acton said: Power tends to corrupt. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. It may be a good time to give Actons words a re-examination, a dust down, and some traction with a mediated discussion that seeks to bring to an end - a conclusive, nuked out bridge and explosion over the river Styx - best defined in the USA by polarizing, pointlessly futile, confrontational, and totally exasperating two party Dem/GOP politics.
