Its starting to look like a kitchen again. All the cabinets have been put in. They rebuilt the half-wall that the sink and dishwasher go in. Were waiting for the new granite counter-tops to be installed next week. We had florescent long-bulb lighting (whatever theyre called), but we removed that lighting (why its so dark in the pictures). Today they came by and mudded/tapped/smoothed the drywall, then added the texture over the top. Once everything is done, theyll paint it to match the rest of the house. Then vinyl floors in the kitchen and bathrooms, laminate in the other side of the house. (Im still sitting on concrete), and baseboards across the whole house. No tree going up (yet), we dont have anywhere to put it. No decorations at all really. I still have a whole storage container to empty out, and we only have the bedrooms that are finished. So, house is going to look great, I still dont recommend flooding your house to do it.
