Its story time: (The names and places have been changed to protect the guilty). Based on a true story. I was visiting a celebrity friend of mine, that lived in an exclusive area off Central Park West. After my visit, I was walking through the lobby , and was about to exit the building. All of a sudden, a voice called out to me in in a loud whisper. I turned around, and I seen the Doorman motioning to me with his hand . I walked over to the Doorman, and he said, Could you do me a favor and watch the front door for 5 minutes, I have a stomach virus, and I have no one to relieve me.I decided to help the guy out, and agreed to stand at the entrance for 5 minutes. The Doorman, quickly took off his doormans hat, and gave it to me to wear while he was gone. About one minute went bye, and this Limo pulled up to the entrance. The Chauffeur opened the car door, and out popped a famous Rap Singer. The Rap artist had all the bling, and was wearing a $5,000 mink coat, he was fly. The Rapper started to strut to the front door, and naturally I opened it. As he entered the door way, he said Whats Happening Man, slapped me five, and stuffed a twenty dollar bill in my other hand. Right after that, another known personality appeared, and he handed me a $50 bill for just opening the door. A few minutes later , the Doorman returned to his post, and I gave him back his hat. The Doorman thanked me, and proceeded to give me a $5 bill. The doorman than asked, How did it go while I was gone?. I told him it was quiet like a church mouse. I shook his hand , and moved on.
