Its such a disgrace when you bump into another samoan person you know has very fluent samoan and speaks very little ENGLISH. So the conversation starts of with me saying MALO! O A MAI? and expecting they will reply back in samoan language but guard damn they take over the conversation struggling to prounce english words together with their tongue almost caught in their teeth and here I am standing their thinking what is this laughing with samoans so the comedy show ends with my reply its alright I can speak & understand samoan very well. The moral to my status is dont throw away your samoan language ...you should be proud of where you come from. Your cultural background is your identity it tells others where you come from and who are so stop looking like a fool and stay COOL - #samoanLanguageWeek#ProudSamoan#
