Its surprisingly shameful on how life in Kenya is cheap. Innocent citizens are dying right,left and center... from the killer matatus and buses to the politically instigated tribal fighting like in North Eastern,from violent robberies to terrorism. In civilized societies, just a few innocent people loosing their lives makes heads to start rolling. Here in Kenya, its just business as usual. Those who are supposed to take the responsibility come up with all manner of theories, declarations and ultimatums. But for anyone pretending to end the unwarranted deaths of innocent Kenyans, they must first pretend on cleaning and fixing the Police force, especially taming corruption in the force,re-training them on modern ways of fighting crime, equipping them with modern equipments, empowering them with intelligence gathering capacity and putting sound leadership at the helm.
