Its taken me awhile to realize why the first day Ward Amberson is gone, back to Mongolia, is a somber, quiet, almost empty feeling. I drop him off at the airport, Halle is at school, I walk in the house, empty, quiet, still, I sit down and think-we have 2-4 weeks together, talking, bonding, sometimes bickering about the silliest things, like raking leaves, lol, but I sit in my recliner before I let the dogs in from the kennel, look at his empty chair and think, about these things: 1. Death-God forbid this to ever happen, but the reality of Death, sometimes hits me, because we have lost a lot of friends/family lately. 2. Love 3. Blessings in life 4. How far we have came in life-thinking about the next decades to come. 5. How much life is a sacrifice. 6. Our 3 daughters and how in just 2 short years, we have successfully raised our lil family. 7. I think about our health and how blessed we are to be given a 2nd chance. 8. Friendship 9. I really think about being thankful for our peace now, by this I mean: Marriage is NOT easy, raising Kids is NOT easy and keeping each other HAPPY and your own self HAPPY is NOT easy, you see, when you love BIG, you fight BIG! Therefore, I sit in silence, I sit in peace, Thank you God for our blessings!!!
