Its that time of year again been a good year for chestnuts and with last weeks storms every last one of them came down, while taking Molly for walks we have been picking them up and today we are having our first chestnut soup of the winter with freshly baked bread and a glass of wine in front of a log fire with logs I got from the forest last year. Not everybodys cup of soup but being poor pensioners we have to make savings.
