Its that time of year again, got an email from the cub scout pack wanting to make sure we were still in for helping out again this year. For anyone not familiar with the event, its the bridging ceremony and dinner for when the cub scouts bridge into boy scouts. They do final awards and rank advancement as cub scouts, with some cub scouts being awarded the arrow of light, the eagle scout rank for the cub scouts, and then they actually cross a bridge and are greeted by their new boy scout troop. Our club has helped out with serving food. The food is normally pasta, salad and garlic bread and it provided by places like Marys or Sallys Tomatoes. We just have to run the serving line and such and cut and serve the cake afterwards. Super easy to do, more of a social event for us as we spend as much time standing around talking as we do working. Its at Meadow School on Maria Drive in Petaluma and takes 2-3 hours that night. If you can come and help out please RSVP here or on the forum as there is not much time before the event!
