Its the Christmas holiday season. Some of us have had a loved one, family member or friend that have died. The holidays, but most keenly Christmas, can bring on the melancholia. You miss that person so bad your bones ache. You feel like you just cant continue. This is a response to the loss you still feel, no matter if it was last week or 10 years ago. The void their presence left remains. When you feel overwhelmed with emotion remember that that loved one would not want you to be torn up about their death. They have moved on, and are in a better place, waiting to welcome us when it is our turn. Rather live your life and do some of the things that they enjoyed. Remember their spirit, and live your life and dedicate certain activities that they like to do, and do them in their memory. The void remains, but you can try to bridge that void enjoying the life you have and that they no longer share. Shed a tear or two. Continue on your journey, consoled by the thought that as long as you remember them, they are with you in spirit. Live life because its all we have. Try to make a difference. If you know someone whos lost a friend or family member, give them a hug for their departed loved one. You will really help them cope with their pain. This Christmas season I wish everyone peace and love. Remember those who are gone and live for their memory, but mostly live for yourself!
