Its the FINAL WEEKEND of Agatha Christies AND THEN THERE WERE NONE at Lakewood Playhouse! ONLY 3 SHOWS REMAIN...And Then There Are None!! THE REVIEWS Have Been WONDERFUL and the Show is tailor made for CHRISTIE Fans, Lovers of MYSTERY and More! Despite all the murder, it is not a dark or disturbing story. There is ample humor and a fascinating variety of characters, each with his or her personality quirks, nicely portrayed by the large ensemble cast. The fun in the show is getting to know these characters and trying to figure out who is going to be killed next and who the killer is. First-time Lakewood Playhouse director Rick Hornor does a great job of placing and moving about 11 actors in difficult situations. Best of all, the cast members do a great job of portraying each of these eccentric characters in such a way that they do not appear to be acting... The set-up in act one is necessarily slow to develop, but once they get going, it is a roller coaster ride of one surprise after another. -- Alec Clayton (Tacoma News Tribune) According to the directors note, Christie did declare it was her best piece of craftsmanship. Lakewood Playhouses presentation of And Then There Were None displays quite a bit of craftsmanship as well. --Joann Varnell (Weekly Volcano) Rick Hornor directs this marvel whodunit. (Who coulda dunit? Remember – “And Then There Were None.”) Hornor knows the ins and outs of the story so well, he is able to place his victims in such manners that the audience isn’t aware of what is to happen until after it happens – right before their collective eyes. Each of Honor’s cast has developed their character befitting the plot from the novice to the old pro. -- Lynn Geyer (Suburban Times) Directed by Rick Horner, a retired head of the Theatre Department of Whitworth University who is making his Lakewood debut, the play’s staging is a simple thrust stage of the English lodge’s living room.... The script is handed over to a solid cast of actors to bring them to life. -- Steve Dunkelberger (Tacoma Weekly) --TONIGHT at 8:00pm --SATURDAY, October 11th at 8:00pm -and- --The CLOSING SHOW on SUNDAY, October12th at 2:00pm FOR TICKETS: CALL Our BOX OFFICE at (253) 588-0042 -or- MAKE an ONLINE RESERVATION at lakewoodplayhosue.org To READ the ENTIRE REVIEW, or to SHARE IT please CLICK the LINK Below! thenewstribune/2014/09/19/3381439_and-then-there-were-none-at-lakewood.html?sp=%2F99%2F1683%2F&rh=1
