Its the Janice Long show on a Thursday morning, Jan just read out a great poem sent to us by Pete Goodwin if you missed it here it is; My Old Tin Bath (2014) My old tin bath of mine. Is know full of holes. as Im on the dole . As you know I dont have the time to fill these holes As you know this old tin bath of mine as been taken away by the rag and bone man. As the rag and bone man give me sixpence to replace my old tin bath. With a second hand tin bath of which I place on cinder blocks (breeze blocks) where er-in-doors use to light the hot coals to keep the water warm. As I lay here in my old tin bath in the middle of summer where the neighbours could see me in my birthday suite whilst I sit here in my old tin bath As er-in-doors use to calls me (me) a wet flannel. As you know it was the dogs bath day.
