Its this kind of crap that irritates me. Lawyers suing drug companies for known side effects. Just like all of the oral contraceptives carry risk of having a stroke, heart attack or a blood clot (known side effects for decades), ALL medications have potential side effects! That is why its the physicians responsibility to instruct you on the medication they prescribe, the pharmacist is obligated to do the same instruction when filling the script and provide you with written information. It is so you are making an informed choice to take or not to take! All this does is further the culture of accepting no responsibility for your own choices and blaming someone else. Want to know why healthcare costs are so astronomical? Its idiots who sue over every little thing. Hmmmm, Im in a tremendous amount of pain post surgery and these ads are upsetting me, maybe I should sue these people for causing me extreme emotional distress! (Said with great sarcasm!)
