Its time for DAAs Artist of the Week! A.T. Moffett is an artist and educator based in Wilmington, DE. As of late, she has focused much creative energy on raising twin babies, as well as writing and serving as a reviewer for the Journal of Dance Education. Her research centers on creativity and critical thinking in dance education. Her choreography has been seen in DE, PA, NJ, CA, OR, and MN. As a performer, A.T. danced with choreographers Myra Bazell, Tania Isaac, Stephan Koplowitz, Donald McKayle, Mary Anthony and the Sokolow Dance Foundation. A.T., who is a DAA Member, holds an MFA from the University of Oregon and a BA from Radford University. She teaches at the University of Delaware. atmoffettdance. You can see A.T.s choreography at the Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts (a DAA Institutional Supporter) tomorrow at First Friday Art Loop. She is collaborating with local visual artist T.S. Kist on her opening reception for her newest work Wire/less. Four student dancers from UD are performing A.Ts choreography.
