Its time for commercial galleries in Bangkok to hire some good curators, so that the quality of works and exhibitions in their galleries will get better. Criteria for curators (for a commercial gallery): need to have good eyes and good taste, in other words, good aesthetic sense, and some knowledge about contemporary art, both Thai and international. However, in my point of view, knowledge about art is secondary to having a good aesthetic sense! And beware of the ones who pretend that they understand art, while, in fact, does not know how to look at art, or differentiate between good and bad art!
