Its time for me to head off to my library now--and incidentally, - TopicsExpress

Its time for me to head off to my library now--and incidentally, it shall be my first day back at work since we have gotten back from our honeymoon, even though Harold has been back to work for two days already, too!--and to sell some of the handmade toys that Miss Meyer from the Tasty Tidbits from The Downton Village Pantry has been making for all of the village children to have, as well! *Grins happily and enthusiastically at the prospect* It has been pouring out like mad here all day, however, but I shall take extra care to wear a lot of layers and I should be fine to go out into the stormy weather then, indeed! Harold has offered to drive me over in our automobile, but I declined, telling him that I liked to walk in the rain--and also that a bit of rain never hurt anybody, either! Oh, my sweet husband! *Smiles and blushes at it all* He just looked at me and laughed and then he packed up some cookies for me to take with me to the library, too! Theyre from our wedding, and they were being kept frozen in our ice box, but I suppose that they shall defrost by the time I need a snack to eat later today, no? *Giggles happily and amusedly at it all, but then sobers as she leaves for the library in the pouring rain* In truth, you know, I do like the rain, but even so--well, this is a bit of a heavy downpour for me to walk about in. Still, I have need of the fresh air, I think, for last night I had another horrid nightmare. I still go to Doctor Lingmann, the psychologist that Doctor Clarkson recommended to me, and it does help to speak of such things, but the dreams--they are so very real! I often wander about the cottage and then hurry back to bed in the early hours of the morning. I am so very, very tired, but I darent tell my husband. I dare not disrupt our happiness! And no--it wont last, for we are always so happy now! So very, very happy, you know! *Sighs a bit and then brightens, nodding happily, enthusiastically at it all* And besides, do you know what? Why, I slipped a little note into my husbands hands just as I was leaving this afternoon--and it tells him just how happy I am right now and so there is no need for him to worry, really--nor is there reason for me to worry, or so I keep telling myself--and oh, how he smiled, you know! How he smiled at my note, indeed! *Bites on her lower lip a bit worriedly, but then smiles widely as she is welcomed back to her library by the entire staff when she enters--and what a cheer they all shout out in joy! What happiness, what joy, indeed!* Yes--dreams are dreams, but this is reality! And this is going to be a happy day, indeed! *Smiles at the future and then marches off to sell toys galore! Why, what fun she shall have today, indeed!*
