Its time for this community to come together and stop being one school against another. The board has not looked at all solutions. The community is begging this board to look and consider all solutions before making any decisions. I am glad to see that the community is slowly starting to realize that closing elementary schools will not be the resolution to the problems this district faces. Closing schools will not improve the quality of life in this community. It will not improve the quality of education. I am a New City resident, a homeowner and taxpayer, that cares about the entire community and the quality of education that is provided in our district. I dont want this community to remain divided and no one that lives in this town should. Lets show up to these meetings, stand on that line to comment and let the board hear that you want to save this community by keeping all of our elementary schools OPEN.
