Its time to celebrate dear Friends, Family and Partners of Tccc! We Celebrate life with you :-) What a Glorious time to be serving the Lord our God. The air waves are full of the Holy Spirit ascending on all peoples around us. As Im passing strangers in the grocery isles with a smile, smiles are coming back to me! As we see an Upper Peninsula sweat shirt wearer in the isles of Home Depot, it catches our attention... And a conversation is developed. Its simple really, when we take time for someone else,... nearly always they are ready and willing to take a break from their hustle and bustle. I just know God has created us to be friends. He did not create us to be enemies. He didnt create sarcasm or one upmanship! No He didnt. When I think of the word argue, back talk, murmuring and complacency.. No motivation, all talk and no Do... Its so frustrating.... God is a rewarder when we are willing and obedient to His Word. Can you see how tricky the enemy is? Hes convinced generations of people to just slide by. Hes implanted in their brain that they deserve better and more. Millions of people are wishing for better jobs, bigger and prettier houses, newer and fancier transportation... All the while theyre not doing their best in the job they have, not keeping the house and property they have clean and in good repair, did I mention the car or truck? .. When was the last time it was washed or swept out? (I am guilty of this) Reaping what we sow, Stewardship of the things weve been given to take care of... Awe yes... Things.. Dear Friends, its not even about just things.. Its the family and people we know and love... How are we taking care of them? Are we honoring and respecting them with our actions and words? Ive found it increasingly difficult to see people respect others at work, play, and at home... We should never be satisfied with the excuses that its the day and age were living in. We as Christians need to be sure that the examples were setting are above and beyond reproach. Its been said, They will know we are Christians by our Love, ... Will they ? Compromises....getting what we want by bending the rules, just a little bit. Does the end justify the means ? Pete and I have been studying in 2 Chronicles, in the days of Jehoshaphat. His father was King Asa. Chapter 15 tells of Asas reform. The Spirit of the God came upon Azariah son of Oded. He went out to meet Asa and said to him, Listen to me, The Lord is with you when you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you, but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you. He continued on.. Be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded, On verse 15-16-17 its exciting to see how eagerly they sought to do the Lords will, and that Asas heart was fully committed to the Lord.. And the Lord gave them rest on every side. There was no war until his 35th year of reign. In Asas last years Asa made an agreement with King Aram, who was ruling in Damascus... Asa sent lots of gold, silver and treasures to the king. Let there be a treaty between us, so we can conquer and rule more.. Said Asa Asa had been successful because of the Lord, but now he felt like he needed men, warriors and a backup plan...... But a seer came to Asa and said to him, Because you have relied on the king of Aram and not the Lord your God, you have done a foolish thing. For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him. Asa got sick and died. (he wasnt following God) Jehoshaphat then became king. The Lord was with him because in early years he walked in the ways of the Lord. Jehoshaphat was rewarded with great wealth and honor. His heart was devoted to the Lord. He became more and more powerful. The Old Testament has powerful examples of how so many people went to God with all their heart, and then when things started going good, greed or power became more important than their covenant they had made with the Lord. ★We need to speak key statements of strength into our lives too★ Chapter 20:9 If calamity comes upon us, whether the sword of judgement, or plague or famine, ●We will stand in your presence before this temple that bears your Name and will cry out to you in our distress, and you will hear us and save us. ● Verse 20:14 -15-16-17 Then the Spirit of the Lord came. He said, Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you : Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but Gods. Tomorrow march down against them. You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions ; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you. Do not be afraid ; Do not be discouraged. Go out and face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you. Jehoshaphat and his people bowed and worship and gave thanks unto the Lord. They sang and praised the Lord God with loud voices. Jehoshaphat said to his people, Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld ; have faith in His prophets and you will be successful. He appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise Him for the splendor of His holiness as they went on ahead of the army. Give thanks to the Lord, for His love endures forever. As they readied for battle, singing praises, the Lord set up an ambush so their enemies were defeated again. (Thats what I call a time to rejoice!!) verse 30 And the kingdom of Jehoshaphat was at peace, for his God had given him rest on every side. verse 35 Later, Jehoshaphat king of Judah made an alliance with Ahaziah king of Israel, who was guilty of wickedness. verse 37 then a prophet came to him and said, Because you have made an alliance with Ahaziah, the Lord will destroy what you have made. ●his order for a fleet of ships were all wrecked and they were never used to set sail for trade. ● God has given you and me so many examples in the Bible to follow. My heart aches when I see someone trying to take a shortcut. Without seeking our Father God first, or honoring His desires for us. Nothing will work for us. It may look like it on the outside for a while.. But on the inside where it matters.. There is no heart. Its dead. Its just world accomplishments, no real value with no good end results. Dear Friends, dont be duped. Dont fall for the enemies tricks and lies. Its got to be God all the way, or no way. Always be internally led by the Holy Spirit. Never be led by external circumstances, or your flesh. We have Gods strength inside of us. We are here for this season for a reason. Our Mission is not impossible. Our bodies want us to learn to live in peace. Our bodies are born to die. But our Spirit isnt. Our brain will age, but our mind doesnt have to. Our brain isnt our mind. They are two separate things. The Word says we Renew our minds daily. Romans 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what Gods will is -His good, pleasing and perfect will. Our mind is only OUR mind. Our mind is attached to our Spirit man. Be mindful of it. Always check in with your Good Shepherd. How many leaders and kings have gone down in history that started out right, with all good intentions, yet, when outside pressure and circumstances pushed in on them, they werent strong enough to stand? This season you and I are in right now, in our lives... How strong are we? Are we willing to continue to Stand? Does it seem like everyone around us isnt concerned with eternal life with Jesus? This world is decaying. We are decaying. We were formed from the same dust. Lord, my prayers still remain, Thank you for being with us as we go through this world. Thank you for the added strength to shine brighter in this darkness. Lord we know that You can do anything but fail. You are the Alpha and Omega. The Beginning and the end. We Praise You Lord, we worship and adore you. We choose to live our life with You in Peace. We choose to shut out the enemy with all his lies and deceptions. There isnt any way that we will allow strife or confusion into our daily lives. Lord we know that You are All Good, nothing but Good. If theres anything were going through right now that isnt good, we know that you are not in it. If we are experiencing any loss, confusion or destruction, we know where its coming from. John 10:10. Reminds us. The thief (Satan) comes only to kill, steal, and destroy; I have come (Jesus) that they may have life, and have it to the full. Know your enemy!! Define him.. Identify him in the irritations and confusions in your home and work. Weed him out! Kick him out. Stand up against him. Give him no place and no space. Dont give him any credit.. With the Lord on our side, the enemy doesnt stand a chance. Choose.. Life.. Choose to speak life into your family and circumstances. Be led internally by the Holy Spirit. He is talking to you. Tccc will always stand in agreement with you as you run this race for Jesus. Individually we may seem small and insignificant, but in Our Fathers eyes, we are everything to Him.. Individually and collectively.. Each of us are going through something right now.. So as we go through it, may others around us see Jesus in us. Thank you Lord. Praise you Jesus. Malachi 3:10-12 Reminds us of how important our tithing unto the Lord is. Its letting us know that we dont give to men, but to the Lord. The Lord gets His will done through men. Bringing the tithes to the storehouse means provisions are gathered. Just like we need physical food to eat to stay nourished, we also need Spiritual Food to stay strengthened in the Word. God is a rewarder when we are obedient. So where ever you are tithing, stay faithful and obedient to the Lord. Were so thankful we get to serve Him.
